Jacques van Niekerk
I work in the software industry, and have done so all my working life. My mileage varies.
I live in Cape Town, in the shadow of the mountain, in the teeth of the wind, with my lovely partner Lindy. Also have dogs and fish. Lindy owns a company called Development Works – check it out.
This blog serves a two-fold purpose. First of all – it’s simply a place to express myself, and to go to when I feel lonely on the web. :p The nature of the posts here vary – according to my mood, what I need to get off my chest, the time of day, and whether I have had a glass of wine or not – sad but true.
Linkedin stores my professional profile.
Friendfeed consolidates my tweets.
Yes, I am on facebook.
Goodreads keeps track of what I have been reading.
I tweet with Twitter.
I occasionally tumble with tumblr.
I track with MyBlogLog.
I put pictures I really like on flickr.
See what I am listening to at last.fm
I share with Google Reader.
And I sometimes bookmark with delicious.
I also blog at MIHSWAT – I work there.
The header pictures (except the one on this page) are from cemeteries in Latin America.
